Baylin Walter Bode

A Celebration of Life service for Baylin Walter Bode age 17 of Ames will be 10:00 am Wednesday at the Faith Center in Meno with Rev. Michael Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ames Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Baylin was born December 6, 2004 in Edmond, OK to Charles “Chuck” Bode and Denna Suit Jantzen and passed away December 16, 2021 from the results of automobile accident. He attended Cimarron Schools through the 9th grade and attended Epic Charter School. He also attended Northwest Technological School for Automobile Mechanics. Baylin loved working on old cars, fishing, and hunting. His infectious smile and hugs are the things people will miss from him. Baylin enjoyed being around people and he could relate to all ages and he NEVER met a stranger. Everyone was his friend. He loved life and was always HAPPY. As he would travel around, he was always looking for junk vehicles.

Baylin is survived by his mother Denna Gee and husband Kevin, father Chuck Bode, siblings, Lynsie Sturgeon and husband Quentin, Derrick Jantzen and wife Caila, Blade Bode and fiancé Janae, and Cherokee Henry and husband Andy, grandmother Rhonda Jantzen and grandfather Rex Suit along with several other loving family members and friends and his special friend Keeley Gallia.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Walter and Bonnie Bode.

Memorials may be made to the Ames Fire Dept with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
