A Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara Ann Maly, 83, of Enid, will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 15, 2017 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Rev. Rajesh Mankena officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Barbara was born to Albert and Della (Volz) Kurtz, on July 25, 1933, in Geary, Oklahoma and passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 in Enid.

Barbara grew in Geary and graduated from Memorial High School in Enid. She married Laddie Joseph Maly on February 16, 1955, and they made their home in Enid. Barbara was a full time mom and housewife. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier and St. Gregory Catholic Church, and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. Barbara was a longtime member of the Catholic Daughters and St. Francis Altar Society. She was active in several local bridge clubs.

She is survived by her children Elizabeth Alvey and husband James Jr., and Jason Maly all of Enid; 2 grandchildren Alexandria Benbrook(Cory Nicholson) and Nicholas Maly; and 1 great grandson Jackson Nicholson.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother Joe, and a sister Dorothy.
