ENID, OKLA. - The NWOK Women’s Business Summit is scheduled for Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Autry Technology Center. This one-day event is designed to encourage, support and equip women in business throughout Northwest Oklahoma.

The event is put on by Autry Technology Center, The Strate Center for Business Development, Enid Regional Development Alliance, Main Street Enid, Northern Oklahoma College and REI’s Women’s Business Center.

“We are excited to bring this event back to Northwest Oklahoma,” said Cari Forrest, event organizer. “It has been seven years since an event like this has been offered right here in our area. We have a great lineup of speakers who are ready to share their expertise and experience with our guests.”

The event starts at 8 a.m. and will conclude by 2 p.m. The early bird registration fee is $25 and is available through June 21. Registration goes up to $35 following June 21. The registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, three keynote speakers and two breakout sessions. Tickets can be purchased online at www.nwokwomen.com.

Keynote speakers for the event include Krista Scammahorn, Alicia Tippett and Cathy McCullough. Breakout session speakers include Anna Irwin, Kelly Tompkins, Hannah Hankey, Vicki Brown, Cheryl Evans, Cara Evans, Stela Jantzen and Elizabeth Nicholas. Breakfast and lunch are provided by Farmhouse Fresh.

Autry Technology Center has been a part of the Enid community since 1967 and is one of 29 CareerTech schools across Oklahoma. The center has more than 25 career programs and offers a wide variety of evening and weekend short-term courses and certifications for many diverse career fields. Autry serves nearly 16,000 individuals each year, including many area employees who receive training through the Business and Industry Services Department that works with over 500 local businesses each year.
