Funeral service celebrating the life of Anna Bell Hromas, 96, of Waukomis, will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Waukomis Christian Church with Rev. Dave Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Waukomis Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 6:00 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Anna Bell was born March 9, 1922, in Drummond, to Charles S. and Emma G. (Dale) Kline, and passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 in Enid.

Anna Bell graduated from Drummond High School, and married Leon Joe Hromas, on August 12, 1940 in Enid at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. They made their home on the family farm until 1960 when they moved to Waukomis. Anna Bell was a homemaker, a member of Waukomis Christian Church, she loved to fish, and garden.

Anna Bell is survived by her children Leon “Cletus” Hromas (Shirley) of Blackwell, Vernon Hromas (Kay) of South Haven, Kansas, Larry Hromas, James Hromas, and Kathryn Nelson (Brad) of Waukomis, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son Terry, daughter-in-law JoAnn, brother Vernon, and a sister Zella.
