The funeral service for Alta Joy Lucas, 76 of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2020, in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Tom LeGrand officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Alta was born November 20, 1943, in Lebanon, MO, to Leo and Opal Blankenship Anthony, and passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020, in Enid.

Alta married Gerald Lucas, Sr. in 1966, and he preceded her in death on February 11, 2014. She had been a cook at NORCE for 33 years. She enjoyed gardening and playing bingo.

Alta is survived by her son, Gerald Lucas, Jr. of Enid, three brothers, Don, Paul, and Allan Anthony, and three sisters, Mary Biggs, Vera Burlander, and Nola Wray. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
