Funeral services for Alissa Grace Harding, age 19, of Jet, will be 10:00 am, Friday, May 31, 2024 at the Faith Center in Meno, Oklahoma, with Pastor Cody Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, May 30th at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Alissa was born August 25, 2004 in Enid, Oklahoma to Chris and Codi (Hornberger) Harding, and passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024 in Salt Plains Park, Jet, Oklahoma.
She attended Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Schools until her senior year, and then graduated from Timberlake High School in 2023. While attending school, she participated in softball, winning many conference championships as a team, as well as three District Championships from 2019-2021; Skeltur Conference Champs 2019-2021; HWY 81 Classic Champs, 2021. She was named to the Skeltur All Conference Team, 2020-2021; Tri-County All Conference Team, 2021; and Cherokee Strip All Conference Team, 2022. She was also a four-year starter between her time at Pioneer and Timberlake Schools. Alissa loved animals and being outdoors, spending time with her friends and her family.
She is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Joan Bohannan; paternal great-grandfather, Edgar Harding; and paternal great-grandparents, Robert and Anita Stebbins. She is survived by her parents, Chris and Codi Harding, of the home in Jet; two brothers, Clayton and Carson Harding; maternal grandparents, Dale and Susan Hornberger, of Waukomis; paternal grandparents, Steve and Tammy Harding, of Salisaw, OK; paternal grandparents, Carl and Sheryl Mootz, of Enid; paternal great-grandmother, Jean Harding, of Bennington, NE; uncle Mason Hornberger and wife Shelly and their son Aaron, of Waukomis; aunt Ashley and Dakota Harding, Oklahoma City; aunt, Chelsi Mootz, of Enid; as well as numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
We as a family would like to thank our ‘village’ that has played a part in raising such a wonderful child. You provided an integral role in helping to mold Alissa into the person she is. Everyone from coaches, teachers, school administrators, friends, family and co-workers; we cannot take all the credit!
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Alissa’s name are made to the Alissa Grace Memorial Fund with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
