Graveside Services for Leland Ray Kennedy, age 63, of Enid, will be 11:30 am, Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Tryon Cemetery, Tryon, Oklahoma under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Leland was born April 1, 1959 in Yuma, Arizona to Joe and Helen (Hearon) Kennedy, and passed away after a courageous battle with stomach cancer on Saturday, August 27, 2022 in Enid.
He loved to hunt and fish, sing karaoke and was an avid OU fan, but loved his family most of all.
Leland is survived by loving wife, Becky Kennedy, of Enid; sister, Cherl Kennedy, of Springer; sister, Mary James and husband Alton “Hoot” James of Hugo, Ok; daughter, Lee Ann Stanart, of Yukon; son, Eric Kennedy and wife Andi, of Yukon; four grandchildren, Connor, Caleb, Kelby, and Kendal; and one great-granddaughter, Everleigh. Leland also leaves behind other special additions to his family, Melissa Gard, Joann York and husband Bryan, granddaughter Tessa York, as well as numerous dear friends.
Memorial contributions in Leland’s name may be made to the OMRF Cancer Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
