The graveside memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Marilyn Faye Rackley, 74, of Buffalo, will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday April 29, 2022, in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Marilyn was born May 14, 1947, to Clarence and Blanche (Jackson) Rackley in Boynton, Oklahoma and passed from this life April 25, 2022, in Buffalo, Oklahoma.
She was raised and educated in Enid attending Roosevelt Grade School, Longfellow Jr. High School and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1965. She worked as a Certified Nurse Aide at St. Mary’s Hospital, Enid Memorial Hospital and Enid State School. She also worked at Kress Department Store, Woolworth’s, T G & Y and Woolco. She was a dedicated member of the Evangel Assembly of God Church where she taught Sunday school to children of all ages for many years. She enjoyed writing devotionals and gospel stories.
She is survived by her sister, Joyce Garvie and husband Pete, of Oklahoma; four nephews; and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Blanche Rackley; one sister Carolyn Huddleston; and her grandparents.
Memorials may be made in her honor to the Evangel Assembly of God Church with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
