Funeral services for Joaquin Chavez Fuentes will be held 5:00pm, Saturday, April 30, 2022 in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bernie Gonzales officiating.
Joaquin Chavez Fuentes was born August 16, 1966 in El Epazote Tasquillo Hidalgo Mexico son of Victoria Chavez Fuentes ( Concepcion Fuentes Herrera and Benito Chavez Resendiz) passed away on Monday April 25,2022.
Joaquin arrived in the United States in 1983 and worked wherever he could find work. In 1988 to 1995 he worked in Medford, Oklahoma for Reed and Linda Bramlett alongside uncle Sam (Zenon Chavez Fuentes),Then he decided to take a different route and moved to Kansas and worked many years laying Sod in the turf industry alongside his uncle Pablo Chavez Fuentes, and many cousins and friends, then he moved to in Enid and worked at Rite Way construction and also for Tim Lang.
Joaquin is survived by his wife Susana, and his children Alma, Abel, Vianney, Pedro, Edgar, Joaquin,and Ediberto, his 10 grandchildren and his mother Victoria Chavez Fuentes, and many other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Concepcion Fuentes Hererra and Benito Chavez Resendiz, sister’s Josefina Chavez Carranza, Paula Chavez Fuentes, and Brother Pablo Chavez Fuentes and many other family members.
