Michael Dean Rodgers

Sunday, March 17th, 1974 - Friday, April 22nd, 2022

A Celebration of Life for Michael Dean Rodgers, age 48, of Enid, will be 10:00 am, Friday, April 29, 2022 at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Bro. Marvin Castor and Bro. Danny Godwin officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 28th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Michael was born March 17, 1974 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Walter and Marlene (Huffman) Rodgers, and passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 in Enid. He was raised and educated in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1993, where he met his wife Amy (Shearon) Rodgers. They were married in 2001 and from this loving union came two children, Corbett and Delaney. He was trained and worked as a welder for Wako, Pumpstar, Ditch Witch, and most recently he was a part of the Silver Arc Welding family for 13 years. He spent his days as a loyal provider for his family, enjoying time with his abundant friends and family, and spending time with the open road on his motorcycle.

Michael is survived by his wife, Amy; parents Walter and Marlene “Fay” Rodgers; two children, Corbett and Delaney Rodgers; sister, Christina Rodgers; brother Dennis Rodgers and wife Angel, all of Enid; as well as two nephews, three nieces, and numerous friends and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and nephew Javan.

Memorial donations can be made to the Downed Bikers Association, Enid Chapter with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
