Funeral services for George Franklin Galusha 90, will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. George was born on October 9, 1931 in Canton, Oklahoma, the son of Byron Galusha and Daisy Foster Galusha, and passed away peacefully on March 1, 2022 at his residence. He was raised in Cleo Springs, moving to Enid, graduating from Enid High School with the class of 1949.
George served his country in the United States Army from 1951 to 1954, as a Corporal assigned to the Airborne Rangers. George worked at Vance Air Force Base in the computer department. Then in Oklahoma City for an optical shop. In 1960, he moved back to Enid working for C & C Appliance, then Wheeler appliance, later working for Sears.
George was a wheat and cattle farmer and enjoying plaing with the goats. Later, George worked on the school buses, school bus driver and janitor for Pioneer Pleasantvale High School. George became a First Assembly of God Minister, working outreach to the shut ins. George worked for First Assembly of God, member of Ministerial Alliance. George loved gardening, raising a garden and selling his harvest to grocery stores. George worked for Huffy First prior to retirement.
