A graveside service celebrating and honoring the lives of Sue “Susie” Bearry Skinner and Douglas George Bearry will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday February 10, 2022, in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Stillwater Oklahoma, with Minister Frank Tepe officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings
Sue “Susie” Bearry Skinner died on January 31, 2022 surrounded by love and family in her home in Enid, Oklahoma. She was 66.
Susie was born on December 3, 1955, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She was the youngest of six and was preceded in death by four brothers: Davie J. Bearry, Johnny L. Bearry, Kenneth D. Bearry, and Douglas G. Bearry, and her parents George David and Abbie Ellen Bearry. She is survived by her husband Troy Skinner, her daughters Amberla and Twyleen Tepe and their father, her ex-husband Joe Tepe, and her sister Vina Bearry O’Neill.
Susie was an extraordinary wife and mother. She was loved by many, and was a beacon of light and kindness wherever she went. She was kind, generous, and caring, always looking out for others and to help them get whatever they needed. Her passion was music and her guitar, as evidenced by the fact that she became a brilliant singer-songwriter. She wrote over a hundred original songs, and performed throughout Oklahoma and surrounding states. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and was a role model of strength and courage.
