The graveside service for Jeanette Langton, 85 yer-old former Enid resident, will be Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 11:00AM in the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Perry, OK. Reverend Bala Raju Pudota officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Jeanette was born June 10, 1936 in Denton, Texas to J.C. and Olive (Collings) Moore and died Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Austin, Texas.
On August 17, 1981, she married James E. Langton in Denton, Texas. The couple made their home in Enid, Oklahoma. Jeanette worked in the banking industry for many years. She was very active in volunteer work for numerous organizations in her community.
She is survived by her niece, Susan Satchell of Leander, TX; nephew, William E. Satchell and wife, Belinda of Allen, TX; niece, Elizabeth Ann Thompson and husband, Nicholas, of Georgetown, TX; great-nephew, William Joshua Satchell; great-great nephews, Max Thompson and Judah Thompson as well as great-great niece, Chloe Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James and sister, Nora Satchell and her husband, William.
