January 9, 1934 - June 15, 2021
Nancy Mae Donnelley, Midwest City, Oklahoma, took the hand of Our Lord Jesus Christ and stepped into eternity on June 15, 2021. Born in Washington D.C. on January 9, 1934, to Della Kaiser, Nancy walked past the White House every day on her way to school and work, and she was proud of her service as a candy striper at Walter Reed Medical Center.
Nancy brought beauty and a creative vision to all of her endeavors; she was especially gifted at transforming spaces and events. Nancy put her creative flair for flower arranging and decorating to use as the owner and operator of Toby’s Bridal shop in Midwest City. Her love of colors, fabrics, home interiors, and art were beautifully displayed in her homes (Midwest City and Enid), where she often hosted large family gatherings, entertaining guests with a rotating repertoire of funny family anecdotes.
Nancy and Stan moved from Midwest City to Enid, Oklahoma in 1982. There, she was a member of the Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, an Acolyte, a member of the Ladies Altar Society, and the church’s wedding coordinator. Nancy also served on the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women at the state and national levels. Nancy returned to Midwest City, Oklahoma in 2008, where she lived out the remaining years of her life. Nancy loved Elvis, Coca-Cola, chocolate, gardenias, her red Cadillac, Shalimar perfume, and taking trips with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Stan Donnelley; a beloved daughter, June Estabrooks; and two special grandchildren Christopher Estabrooks and Jessica Keeley.
Nancy’s beautiful life will be cherished in the hearts of her remaining family: her children, Della Denison (Tulsa, OK); John Estabrooks & wife Jackie (Louisiana); George Estabrooks & wife Susan (Midwest City, OK); Ellen Ann Hicks (Choctaw, OK); Andrew Estabrooks & wife Chris (Choctaw, OK); Shawn Wesley Estabrooks & wife Mickala (Ada, OK); Harold Estabrooks & wife Chiara (Italy); devoted family member Shana Estabrooks (Georgia); 18 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren.
