The Celebration of Life Mass Service for Ralph Zarrella, 91 of Goltry will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Saint Michaels Catholic Church in Goltry, OK with Rev. John Herrera officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michaels Cemetery in Goltry. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Ralph was born on January 7, 1930 to Ralph and Felicia (Diogostine) Zarrella in Waterbury, CT. Ralph graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1948. Shortly after High School, Ralph served his country in the U.S. Air Force as an Instrumental Technician for 22 years. While stationed at Vance Air Force Base, Ralph met Betty Madison at the roller rink. They later married on April 18, 1952 and had 2 children, Elizabeth and Micheal.
After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, Ralph worked with the State of Oklahoma at the Helena Boys School and the Enid Group Home for Boys. Ralph’s wife Betty passed away in 1990. Ralph later re-met and married his high school sweetheart, Mary Tuohy in 1992. He was preceded in death by his father Ralph, first wife Betty, mother Felicia, son Micheal, second wife Mary, brother in law Al Lebel, and brother Joseph. Ralph enjoyed spending time with his family through throwing family birthday parties, bowling, attending special events of his grandchildren and engraving Christmas ornaments for every member of the family.
Ralph is survived by his sister Laura Lebel, daughter Elizabeth (Beth Ann); grandchildren: Melissa Phipps, Douglas Pidcock, Christina Clark, Danny Zarrella, Pamela Bookout, Timothy Pidcock and spouses, 10 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Many nephews and nieces.
Memorial may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.
