You are invited to a fun and special time the evening of Friday, December 3rd and Saturday, December 4th, as Waukomis Welcomes Christmas! Enjoy some Christmas fun just south of Enid, off Highway 81 in their small, but special town of Waukomis. They hope this new event becomes an annual tradition for you and your family!
Friday evening, don't miss horse and buggy rides going from the Buffalo Point property (525 King Ave. in Waukomis) to Buffalo Junction on downtown Main Street!
They'll also have hot chocolate and live Christmas music performances. Mo’s Place will be open Friday evening with a special menu. AND their crew at the Painted Buffalo Trading Company will feature Christmas story book readings for children, and a wine tasting event for the adults, featuring Buffalo Point Wines.
Shorty’s Barber Shop will also be open, and you may just hear a real barber shop quartet performing if you stop by! There will even be a live nativity scene at Buffalo Point on Friday evening.
Saturday, the fun and festivities continue when Santa comes to town! He will be seen eating breakfast at Mo’s Place, and then with Mrs. Clause just next door in the Chapel of Joy, where you’ll get to ask him for that special Christmas wish and get a pic with 'Ole Saint Nick! Meanwhile, kids can decorate their own ornaments and hang them on the tree at Mo’s Place, while the whole family enjoys the delicious tastes of a Christmas breakfast at Mo’s Place!
