The services celebrating and honoring the life of Joshua Hodge, 25, of Enid, will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 5, 2020 in the Emmanuel Enid Church with Pastor Wade Burleson officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Joshua was born March 22, 1995, to Scott and Lorina in Eugene, Oregon, and passed from this life December 22, 2020, in Enid, Oklahoma.
Joshua moved to Enid in 2005 with his family. He joined the United States Army reserves in 2014 receiving an Honorable discharge in 2015. Graduating high school from CDSA Youth Build in 2013. He began working on the pipeline for two years and then managed IHOP for four years. At the time of his passing, he worked at Black Forest Decor and worked in construction on the side.
Joshua enjoyed dancing, rapping, singing and playing football and most of all loved spending time with his family going fishing and seeing new places in the outdoors and playing with his children. Joshua’s death was not in vain he died protecting his family.
He is survived by his parents Scott and Lorina Brown; his first love and mother of his children, Sierra Harber; his children Sabrayah, and Kayden; siblings Heidi, Amanda, Jeffery, and Jeremiah; grandparents Pattiann and Ron Campbell; and numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his “Big Brother” Greg Campbell.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorials be given to the Hodge children’s educational fund with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving us custodian of the funds.
