Kevin DeWayne Forbeck

May 31, 1963 ~ October 30, 2020

Kevin DeWayne Forbeck, 57 years of age, entered Heaven's gates on Friday, October 30th, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 31st, 1963, in Enid, OK, to Gary D. Forbeck and Connie L. Oswald. He was married to Kara Kuhnemund in 1987, which later ended in divorce, and they had three children together: Kyler, Kennedy, and Kade.

Kevin was raised in Enid, OK where he attended Enid High School. He worked for Kaw Southwind Casino over a period of 20 years in managerial positions, and his most recent title was KGI Properties Manager. Other jobs he held were with Tobacco Row in Ponca City, OK and Marsau Enterprises in Enid, OK.

He was very outgoing and brought joy and happiness to family, friends, and his co-workers. He enjoyed art, photography, boating, and tending to his house plants. His children referred to him as "Redcorn", which brought a lot of laughs to him and his children. He was a very hard worker and always went above and beyond to get the job done. His family was important to him, and he enjoyed spending time with them. Kevin will be greatly missed by all who crossed his path.

Kevin is survived by his children, Kyler Forbeck and wife Brandy of Ponca City, OK, Kennedy and Kade Forbeck of Newkirk, OK; his parents Gary Forbeck of Newkirk, OK; Don and Connie Oswald of Enid, OK; his sister Lisa Allton and husband Jeff of Newkirk, OK; his brother Chad Forbeck and wife Moriah of Enid, OK. Also survived by his grandchildren Drake, Aden, Kyson, and Konner plus several nieces and nephews.

Kevin is preceded in death by his son Josh, his granddaughter Emery, his paternal grandparents Wayne Forbeck, Jack and Maxine Cravens, and his maternal grandparents Bill Hoopingarner, and Clarence and Gloria Jordan.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 4th, 2020 at Christ's Church in Newkirk, OK with Pastor Craig Ortwein officiating. Interment will follow in the Washunga Cemetery.
