Mike Klemme, Photographer. Mike Klemme is one of the most widely published golf course photographers in the world. For 25+ years, his assignments have taken him to every state in the United States, to Kenya, Morocco, Italy, Ireland, Finland, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia and more.
Mike has traveled over four million miles and visited over 1,400 golf courses in 45 countries around the world. One of the most widely published photographers in his field, Mike’s photographs have appeared in countless magazines, including GOLF Magazine, Golf Digest, Links, Travel + Leisure Golf, Golf Connoisseur, The Golfer, ESPN The Magazine, USA Today, Cigar Aficionado, The Robb Report, Men’s Journal, and Sports Illustrated.
His images have been used in many books, including George Peper’s “Grand Slam Golf” and “Golf Courses of the PGA Tour”, Brian McCallen’s “Golf Resorts of the World”, and Jim Franks’s “Golf Watching”. Mike has served on GOLF Magazine’s panel to select the top 100 golf courses in the world since 1990, and is a director Emeritus of The Academy of Golf Artists.
Mike has also completed assignments for dozens of Fortune 500 companies including Rolex, General Mills, Troon Golf, Jack Nicklaus Enterprises, Arnold Palmer Design, Greg Norman Design, and Gary Player Design.
He is also the author and photographer of several books, including “A View from the Rough”, “Celebrating Oklahoma!” and “Celebrating Enid!”.
