Graveside service for Esther Walton, 103, will be Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 10:00 am in Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Susan Southall officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation with the family present will be Monday evening 5:00-6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Esther was born February 16, 1917 to Bert and Georgia O’Brien in Mutual, Oklahoma and passed away June 26, 2020 in Enid.

She married Delbert Walton in Jefferson, Oklahoma, May 9, 1940. They made their home in Enid and were blessed with three children.

Esther was a housewife, excellent seamstress and loved to cook. She worked for Asfhal Dress Manufacturing, Baby Duds dress manufacturing and later worked for Gold Spot Dairy, where she retired in 1985. Esther loved to sew, knit, crochet, work crossword puzzles, cook and bake. She also loved to be outside working in the yard. Esther was a member of Willow View United Methodist Church and found her strength in the Lord and loved her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, daughter-in-law, Ruth Walton.

Esther is survived by her children, Sandra and husband Joe Quintanilla, Evert and wife Gayla Walton, and Montie Walton, all of Enid; six grandchildren, Gary and wife Judy Reed, Shawna and husband, John Gaines, Melissa and husband, Justin McGann, Sabrina and husband, Dustin Dierksen, all of Enid, Dr. Perry and wife, Dr. Nicole Walton of Ocean Spring, MS, Dustin and wife Dr. Lindsey Walton of Fairway, KS; 13 great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Willow View United Methodist Church or OMRF- Alzheimer Division.
