At her express request, a private graveside service for the immediate family only, celebrating and honoring the life of Vareeda Fenimore, 62, of Midwest City, Oklahoma will be held at 02:00 P.M. Friday April 10, 2020 in the Enid Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born on November 12, 1957 to Dr. Jack Curtis and Winnie Mae DeShazo Fenimore in Claremore, Oklahoma and passed from this life on April 07, 2020 in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Oklahoma, graduating from Pioneer High School in 1975. Vareeda attended Central State University where she graduated with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She worked in Fashion Design and Marketing before transitioning to work in the training division for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, IT Division. Vareeda was a gifted organizer and enjoyed music, travel, and photography. She loved planning and attending family reunions and helping other people.

Vareeda was a faithful church member and attended New Covenant Assembly. She loved their bible study program and enjoyed the fellowship with her church family.

She is survived by her mother, Winnie Mae Fenimore, sister, Vivian Atchinson (Court), and brother, Jack Curtis Fenimore Jr. (Milda); nephew Jonathan Fenimore (Sarah) and nieces Leah Fenimore and Lisha Fenimore (Paul) and numerous friends and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Jack Curtis Fenimore.

Memorials in her name may be made to your local YWCA Women’s Shelter and the Jesus House (OKC) with Brown-Cummings Funeral serving as custodian of the funds.
