Celebration of life service for Nicholas Bowlan, Sr, 63 of Enid will be 10:00 AM, Monday, March 2, 2020 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Barbara Benett officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Nicholas was born December 29, 1956 in Okanawa, Japan to Charles and Susie Bowlan, and passed away at his home in Enid on Thursday, February 27, 2020.

Nicholas met Joyla Bowen in June of 1998 and they have been together ever since. On December 19, 2019 they were married in Enid. He was a very easy going person who loved to take care of everyone. Nicholas worked at several different grain elevators and loved his work. Nicholas also loved going to Mt. Scott.

He is survived by his loving wife Joyla of the home; 5 children Crystal Bowlan, Nicholas Bowlan, Jr, Daniel Bowen, Kenneth Bowen, and Jeramiah Bowen; 10 grandchildren; and his sister Carmen Bowlan.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his parents and his stepmom Imarie Bowlan.
