EHS Swim Teams Take Home Boys & Girls Team Titles

EDMOND, OK - The Enid High School swimmers rocked the Big 8 Championship swim meet Tuesday in Edmond. Enid swimmers took home both the boys and girls team titles! The Enid High Head Swim Coach is Lyndsay Watts.

The girls swept more than one event and ran away with the lead early in the meet. The boys race was pretty close the whole meet and the Plainsmen came away with the win.

The Pacers had 494 points beating Putnum City North, which had 306 points. The Plainsmen had 377 points to outpace Putnam City with 337 points.

Schools competing for the team titles included Enid High School, Putnam City, PC North, Choctaw High, Midwest City and Putnam City.

Individual standouts were Freshman Pacer Elsa Stewart, Freshman Plainsman Cody Higbee, and Sophomore Plainsman Jaziel Estrada.

The All-Big 8-Conference Team was named and six Pacers and three Plainsmen were named All Conference. Pacers included Aly Arambula, Jordon Pierce, Elsa Stewart, Sara Garcia, Lizzie Ostermaier and Daniella Sanchez. Plainsmen included Jaziel Estrada, Luke Denney and Cody Higbee.

All Conference Honorable Mention went to Victoria Lucas, Chloe Plummer, Stratton Mantz, Noah Johnson and Brian Higbee.
