Elaine’s passion was her faith and enriching the lives of the children who knew her as “Mom” and “Grandma”, whether they were related or not. She and her husband Alvin provided a loving environment for their children, grandchildren, as foster parents, hosts for a foreign exchange student, to the boys of the Bulldog Boxing Club, and any child who entered their life and their home. Elaine shared her Christian faith with these children, sprinkled with chores and life lessons. Elaine’s life was her family, and family was anyone who walked through her door.
