ENID, OK - The adult Comic Con costume contest winners were announced on Saturday. Third place and $100 went to Poison Ivy, second place and $200 went to StormFly, and first place as well as $500 went to Necromancer.

Comic Cons happen all over the world! They are considered super “geek” festivals of sci-fi/fantasy movies and television, comic books, artists and cosplayers (folks who dress up as their favorite characters).

Preview night will be Friday, August 2 from 6pm to 8pm - $5 (limited tickets available). Be the first to see some of the comics, cards and other goodies. Not all vendors will be on hand.

The 2nd Annual Enid Comic Con is coming back to the Stride Bank Center August 3-4 from 10:00am to 6:00pm. The Stride Bank Center is located in downtown Enid at 301 S. Independence. Cosplay and costumes are highly encouraged as there will be contests throughout the event.

The cost to attend is $10 per day on Saturday and Sunday. There will be a preview night August 2 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. (limited tickets available).
