Mark was born April 12, 1969, in Enid to Edmund T. and Patricia A. Messner Galbraith, and passed away Monday, October 29, 2018. He graduated from Enid High School in 1987 and went to work at Vance Air Force Base, working in the same shop as his father. Mark loved airplanes; he continued his avionics career to Aircraft Structures then on to Tinker Air Force Base as a DOD Civil Service employee working on the B-52. He worked on multiple civilian and military airframes during his 29 year avionics career, some of them being the same planes his father had flown.

Mark definitely loved his hobbies. He was an avid Martial Artist with a 2nd degree black belt in Soo Bahk Do. He raced motorcycles, OCCRA and Motocross. Mark not only got his love of airplanes from his father, but trains as well. They spent years building an indoor train layout together. He was very creative and loved working with his hands. Woodworking was something he truly enjoyed. Having made so many beautiful pieces from clocks to furniture to outdoor lawn art. He was very talented and had a keen eye for detail. Mark loved the outdoors and would be outside every chance he could. Often hiking, mountain biking or just walking through nature with his wife Kimberly. They loved to landscape and spent countless hours enjoying their beautiful backyard setting by the fire. Watching movies and listening to music were also favorite past times. Hamm Radios, RC cars/airplanes, four-wheelers and his beloved 1969 Dodge Ramcharger were other things he enjoyed.

Mark had a huge heart, was very loyal, hardworking and honest to a fault. He always told you like it was – never sugar coating. He loved his family and was a very kind and loving son, taking care of both of his parents during their final years. Mark was a great husband, son, brother, uncle and friend to so many. He will be greatly missed.
