Enid, OK April 3, 2018 - As the teacher walk out continues, we are making sure the support services we offer are what is needed most by the students and their families.

The Denny Price Family YMCA is currently planning and preparing to have Schools Out Camp at a reduced rate during the teacher walkout. All day child care for school age kids (pre k – 5th) will be offered beginning on April 3rd .

“We are doing what we can right now, looking at our spaces and our licensing requirements with DHS,” said Shanna Winterbank, Child Care Director. “We are clearly focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility and want to assist families within our capabilities”said, Winterbank.

The hours for the camp will be from 7:30 am – 6 pm Monday – Friday at a cost of $10 for Y members and $15 for program participants financial assistance is offered. More information and registration forms are available at the Y and on our website.
