Henry David Ott

Henry "David" Ott of Kremlin, OK, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, February 1, 2018. David was born September 22, 1940 in Enid, OK to Glen Leroy and Bessy Jean (Provaznik) Ott. He had 4 siblings, Sonja Heinrich (Larry), Rondi Ott, Jerry Ott (Charlotte), and Linda Yaydon (Robert).

David graduated from Drummond High School in 1958. He went on to Phillips University and Enid Business College, where he earned his degree in accounting. After graduation, he entered in to the Army National Guard. David's careers included Central National Bank, George F. Failing Co., H&B Distributing, Sears and finally owned and operated Dave's Midway until his retirement.

David married Carolyn Foust July 1, 1973. They had two children, Derek and Cheryl. David loved being in the company of his family, especially telling stories to his grandchildren. He enjoyed living and working on the farm. He had fond memories of raising cattle, horses, chickens, and pigeons.

David is survived by his wife Carolyn, of the home, son Derek Ott of Tonkawa and wife, Laurie, and their children, Kylie and Jayden, daughter Cheryl Conrady of Sedgewick, KS and husband, Brent, and their children, Kelby, Kinley, and Karly and numerous other relatives and friends.
