The services celebrating and honoring the life of Annette Lara, 56, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday February 5, 2018 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Frisbie officiating. Burial will follow in the New Home Cemetery, Nash. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born June 23, 1961 in Beatrice, Nebraska and passed from this life on January 31, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

She was adopted at a young age by David and Ola McMillin and moved to Oklahoma she attended Enid Public Schools graduating in 1980 from Enid High School. She was married to Juan Tobias March 28, 1997. She worked as Teachers Aide at Head Start for several years. She enjoyed dogs, going to the casino, watching OU and Dallas Cowboys football, crafting and spending time with her grandkids and having cookouts with her family.

She is survived by her children Erik Lara, Arcelia Lara, Evan Lara, Anna Lara; three grandchildren, Gabryela Mendoza-Lara, Amahiya Mendoza-Lara, and Ezio Martinez; her father David McMillin, of Tulsa; one brother Daniel Caldwell; and one sister Betty Soward and her husband James.
