Enid, Okla., December 14, 2017 – Keep Enid Beautiful is partnering with the City of Enid Parks and Recreation Department to assist with funding future park beautification projects and programs.

KEB chairman Suzy Meibergen says all donations to Keep Enid Beautiful with Parks written on the memo line will be earmarked for city parks only.
“Improved parks improves Enid’s quality of life,” Meibergen said. “Our Board is in agreement that supporting upgrades to our city parks helps fulfill the mission of Keep Enid Beautiful. It’s also a key selling point for our local businesses as they recruit new workers.”

Parks and Recreation supervisor Kevin Boehm said in a letter to KEB board members that the department’s goal the past two years has been to offer more programs and opportunities through the use of city parks.

“We are certain,” Boehm wrote, “that with the support of your organization, we will accomplish great things and continue leaving a legacy for our community to enjoy for years to come.”

Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 741, Enid, 73702 or dropped off at the Enid Welcome Center, 201 W Owen K. Garriott.
