The graveside service for Rickey Lee Redding, 61 year-old Ringwood resident, will be 2:00PM Monday, November 20, 2017 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Meno, Oklahoma. Steve Campbell will officiate. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon preceding the service, Monday, 11:30am at the First Baptist Church of Lahoma. Arrangements and services are under the care of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Rickey was born June 18, 1956 in Oklahoma City to Idus and Wyvonne (Brumfield) Redding and passed away suddenly November 15, 2017. On June 25, 1976, Rickey married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Koehn in Ringwood.

At the age of 16, Rickey began working as a pipeliner, which he continued doing for over 23 years. The next 22 years were spent at United Supermarkets as a meat cutter and market manager. Most recently, he was working as a heavy equipment operator at Sandridge Energy for over four years.

Rickey enjoyed making beef jerky. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His favorite saying was, “I’ll see ya when I see ya.”

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Rickey is survived by his loving wife, Pat; two sons, TJ Redding and wife, Magen; Jeff Redding; six grandchildren, Abigail Redding; Katelynn Redding; Jacob Redding; Baily Redding; Aiden Melzer and Madison Redding; two brothers, Steven Redding and wife, Donna; Randy Redding and wife, Carla as well as niece, Deana Patterson and husband, Russell; nephew, Austin Redding and great-nephew, Justin Alley.
