Funeral service to celebrate the life of Thomas George LeGrand, 74, of Fairmont, will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 10, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Garber, with Bro.Tom LeGrand officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Ponca City, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Thomas was born on December 2, 1942, in Ponca City to Sam and Eva Rae (Carter) LeGrand, and passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, in Oklahoma City.

Thomas grew up in Ponca City, and graduated from Ponca City High School. He was a rodeo clown bullfighter, starting when he was sixteen and retired in 1971. In 1962 he married Joyce Sloan in Ponca City, and they lived in Braman where he farmed. He also was a truck driver in Colorado for KOCH, and in 1976 he moved to Enid. He worked as a truck driver, farmed and worked at Vance Air Force Base. Thomas was a member of the PRCA, and the First Baptist Church in Garber. He enjoyed motor cycles, and attending Rodeo Clown Reunions.

He is survived by Joyce; their three children, Tracy LeGrand(Donna) of Shoreview, Minnesota, Teresa Wills (Mike) of Pueblo, Colorado, and Tom LeGrand of Garber; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters Joy Cornforth (Fred) of Bartlesville, and Jaynie Raymond of Edmond.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, brother Buck, and grandson William.
