The funeral for Bobby Lee Dodd will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Victory Bible Church with Pastor Dennis Elder officiating. Burial will follow in the Waukomis Cemetery, under the direction of Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home.
Bobby was born May 23, 1949 to Arthur and Cleo (Walls) Dodd in Tahlequah, OK and passed away March 14, 2017 in Enid.
He attended schools in Tahlequah and graduated in 1968 later that same year he enlisted into the United States Army and served two tours in Vietnam and continued to serve his country until retiring from the Army National Guard. Bobby married Mary Nichols on August 25 1990 in Enid later moving to Waukomis where the couple made their home. He worked 18 years for the City of Enid. He was also a correctional officer for the Diamond Back Correctional facility and drove for Rail Crew Express until he retired in June of 2015. Bobby enjoyed traveling but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Bobby is survived by son, Bobby Dodd, II and his wife, Jennifer of Springfield, OH; grandchildren, Brandon, Austin, Aaliyah and Robert Dodd; three sisters, Thelma Dodd, Patricia Ketcher and Janice Rockholt; nephew, Johnny Dodd and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Keith Allen Dodd and brother, John L. Dodd and wife Patricia.
