Mass of Christian Burial for Geneve “Jenny” McLane, 69, formerly of Enid, will be Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at noon in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Rev. Aaron Foshee as celebrant. Recitation of the Rosary will be Monday evening, January 9 at 6:00 p.m. at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. A private family burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Enid under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Jenny was born to Kenneth Eugene and Elinor Elizabeth (Brockhaus) Hubbs, on March 24, 1947 in Oklahoma City, and passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in Dallas, Texas.
Jenny grew up in Oklahoma City, Colorado Springs, Enid, Okanawa, Japan, Abilene, Texas, Clearfield, Utah, and Panama, and graduated from Ogden High School, in Clearfield, Utah. She moved to Oklahoma City where she began nursing training at St. Anthony’s. Jenny moved back to Enid, and on February 2, 1973, she married Loren Lee McLane. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister, Catholic Daughters of America, and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. Jenny had a home child care center for many years.
Jenny is survived by her son Jason Lyle McLane and wife Darla of Frisco, Texas, and their children Courteney, Katelyn, and Blake; daughter Mirah Lee Ingram and husband Dustin of Thorton, Colorado, and their children Joshua, Briley, and Nathan; brother Kenneth Hubbs and wife Linda of Midwest City; and sister Debra McHenry of Conroe, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Loren on March 13, 1982.
