HENNESSEY, OK - Hennessey Hometown Hootenanny will be Saturday night, February 11, at 7:00pm, at the Hennessey Public Library on South Main in Hennessey. This is a musical event fit for the entire family that you don’t want to miss!

Get out and enjoy an evening of country, gospel, and folk music. Performers will be Laura Tatum, George Garrison, and Lane Roberson of Oklahoma City, Billy Bowen of Dover, Emma Rose of Enid, and Hennessey's own Buck Goucher.

The 2017 season includes Hootenanny dates on January 14, February 11, March 11 and April 8. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children ages 6-12. Proceeds go to Hennessey United.

It all started in 2004 with a little monthly musical event from January thru April. The purpose was to provide a venue of entertainment for the community. They generally have a crowd of 150 to 200 people in attendance.
