Anita Lynn Wegner, Ponca City resident, passed away on November 12, 2016 at her home. She was 54 years old.
Anita was born on December 12, 1961 to Jack and Merle Harp in Enid Oklahoma. She attended school in Ponca City. On September 5th 1980, she was married to Richard (Willie) Wegner. They had two children, Jack and Hattie. The family settled in the Kaw City Oklahoma area, where she worked for the Shidler Public School. In 2015 they made Ponca City their home.
She enjoyed sewing, beadwork, collecting thimbles, and her four little dachshunds.
She is remembered with love by: her father Jack Harp, her sister Lisa Myers and husband John, her husband Richard (Willie) Wegner, her son Jack Wegner and wife Danielle, and her daughter Hattie Ray and husband Shelby, and many other family and friends.
The funeral service will be held at Ponca City Assembly Church on East Prospect Ave. in Ponca City Oklahoma Friday November 18th at 10:00am, with Pastor Dewayne Bardwell, followed by a graveside service at the Washunga cemetery in Newkirk.
