ENID, OK - There's more fun stuff for the kids to do this weekend! The Enid AMBUCS are putting on a Fall Festival that will include FREE pumpkins to the first 100 kids to show up. The kids will get to paint the pumpkins at a pumpkin painting party and they will be entered to win a prize.
-
There's also something for the adults! Food! The AMBUCS will be serving Ribeye sandwiches, bratwurst and hot dogs with chips and drink for $5.00. Proceeds go to the AMBUCS AmTryke program, a very worthy cause.
-
The event is hosted by Jumbo Foods West located in Willow Plaza. Be there Saturday, October 22 from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
-
The Enid Fire Department will be on hand with their firetruck and the Enid Drug Dogs will make an appearance at 1:00pm. All law enforcement & firemen eat free with badge.
-
Don't forget to sign up for the Jumbo's Fuel Rewards Program that saves you money on gas when you buy groceries. Employees will be on hand to help you get signed up.

I must ask, why does Enid not include ALL of it’s Emergency Service Responders in events? I don’t work for Enid and will most likely not attend the events, so it’s not going to benefit me. But it is frustrating to constantly see EMS left out of everything. Enid does not have badges, but they have state EMS licenses. Why not be fair and include the entire Emergency Service family? We all work together to get the job done. It doesn’t feel good to be forgotten, but I know they’re used to it.
