James Harvey Alexander passed away Friday, October 14th 2016 in Enid, Oklahoma. He passed unexpectedly, but peacefully at the age of 68 after a prolonged period of illness.
James is survived by: Wife, Melessa Alexander of Enid; Daughter - Havanah Alexander of Enid, OK. Brother- David Ray Alexander of Albuquerque, New Mexico Sons - Mikel Jeffrey Alexander of Piedmont, OK, Robert Ray Alexander of Phoenix, AZ, and Rusty Alexander of Oklahoma City, OK.; Grandsons - Mackenzie Reid Alexander, Austyn Ray Alexander and Cory Mikel Alexander.Granddaughter - Payton Rein Alexander
He was preceded in death by parents - Harvey Ray Alexander and Violet Hautez "Tez" Alexander, long time residents of Midwest City, OK. James was born on January 21st, 1948 in Oklahoma City, OK. He graduated from Midwest City High School in 1966 and then Oklahoma State University in 1970 with a Bachelors degree degree in Arts and Sciences. He then joined the United States Army and served from 1970 to 1972 in Texas. After moving to Ohio some years later he returned to college, and attended the University of Ohio where he obtained a Masters Degree in Science Administration. James had a long accomplished career as an Audiologist, and retired in 2013 as the Director of Audiology at Hedges Speech & Hearing in Enid, OK.
