A Celebration of Life for Doris Louise Helling, 85, of Covington, will Monday, July 11. 2016, 2:00 PM, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Covington with Pastor Christopher Griffith officiating. Interment will follow in the Covington Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home from 3 to 4PM on Sunday. Doris was born March 7, 1931 in Faye, OK and passed away July 6, 2016.

The former Doris Decker was united in marriage to Arthur C. Helling March 7, 1951 in Marshall, OK and he preceded her in death Dec. 20, 2008. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Covington. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Vrska and her husband Charles of Enid and Connie Oxford and her husband Rick of Covington, OK, 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 10 great great-grandchildren and one sister, Rita Bowling of Perkins, OK. She was also preceded in death by her parents, George and Gladys Haken, a daughter, Carol Layman, a grandson, Carl Vrska and one sister Ruth.
