The Graveside services for Wanda Marie (Marley) Odle will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday March 25, 2016 in the Meno Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
She was born December 18, 1922 and woke to her heavenly home March 21, 2016 at the age of 93. She lived a long and beautiful life. She was preceded in death by her parents; Curtis and Sylvia Marley, sibling; infant Ray Edwin Marley and her infant son; Baby Travis. Wanda is survived by her sister; Betty Morgan of Crescent and daughters; Jeanne O’Marley of Guthrie and Sylvia Belitz of Tulsa and grandchildren; Mike Diel and wife Sondra of Enid, Ben Barnes and wife, Tanya, of Houston, Brooke Golwas and husband Lance of Tulsa, Kyle Belitz and wife Amanda of Dallas, Jenny Thoma and husband Bret of Broken Arrow and Jeremy Belitz and wife Veronika of Broken Arrow. Wanda had 10 Great Grandchildren whom she adored; Kayla Diel, Kassidy Diel, Alex Barnes, Elijah Barnes, Carson Thoma, Matias Belitz, Logan Golwas, Madeline Belitz, Lincoln Belitz and Blake Golwas; niece; Janie Medina and husband, Bill of Crescent and sons Tim and Scott; nephew; Curtis Morgan and wife Flo of Choctaw and sons, Larry and Steven, her little black schnauzer; Sassy and so many others as part of her extended family. Wanda is fondly remembered for all her exquisite needlework, knitting, quilts, her great love of books, history, antiques and her African violets. Wanda loved many pets throughout her life especially her pony, Midget, that she rode to and from school as a child sometimes accompanied by her sister Betty given to her by her Grandfather Marley. She had the opportunity to travel the world with her young family sharing the history of each country and collecting treasures from their travels, often sending gifts back home to family members. Wanda was very involved with her daughters Rainbow Girls work and served as Worthy Matron and in more recent years held offices in Eastern Star.
Wanda will be greatly missed by all those who loved her. Memorials may be made in her name to the American Heart Association or a church or charity of the donor’s choice.
