The graveside service for Jane Puckett, 61 year-old Enid resident, will be 2:00PM Monday, February 15, 2016 in the Kremlin Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Jarrett Banks will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Jane was born April 23, 1954 in Enid to J.C. and Joy (Guffey) Hager and died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.
She attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1972. She then attended Northwestern University. She began working at Vance Air Force Base, holding various positions including Supply and Aircraft Maintenance. She remained at Vance for over 42 years until ill-health forced her retirement.
On May 8, 1976 she married Gary Puckett in Kremlin, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Enid.
In her spare time she enjoyed cross-stitching, going to Canton Lake, skiing in Colorado at the couples time-share in Monarch and trips to Las Vegas with her family.
Jane fought a short but hard-fought battle with style and grace.
She is survived by her husband, Gary of the home; daughter, Amy Castleberry and husband, Mike of Enid; son, Josh Puckett and wife, Heidi of Greenville, North Carolina; two sisters, Peggy Hager of Enid and Jobie McClosky of Utah; two brothers, Steve Hager and wife, Nina of Edmond and Tim Hager of Enid, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
