The funeral for Jammie Moss, age 50, of Tonkawa, will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at Blackwell Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Lamont Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Jammie was born to Homer and Judith (Silks) Hodges on August 12, 1965, in Buena Park, California, and passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016, in Enid.
Jammie graduated from Deer Creek/Lamont High School. On September 9, 1989, she married David Moss in Lamont. She earned two Associate’s Degrees from Northern Oklahoma College, Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, and Master’s Degree from Cameron University. Jammie served as Secretary and Director of Deer Creek Food Pantry for five years, and was awarded Vigil Honor in Order of the Arrow. Jammie served in many volunteer positions with the Boy Scouts of America.
She is survived by her husband David of the home; son David L. Moss and wife Lindsay of Ponca City; brothers Jesse Hodges and Jimmy Trout; sisters Ruby McConnell, Pam Crain, and Emma Hodges.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Judith Hodges.
