A Celebration of Life for Donald Ray Mason, 83, of Enid, will be Friday, January 29, 2016, 10:00 AM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev .Jim Edmison officiating. Interment will follow in the Enid Cemetery.
Donald was born September 12, 1932 in Blackwell, OK the son of Earl D. and Alice I Margerum Mason. He was a graduate of Blackwell High School in 1950. Donald was united in marriage to Mary “Sue” Walta-Rea Crenshaw April 18, 1954 in Lamont, OK and she preceded him in death March 25, 2011. He was a 35 year employee of Fey’s IGA Grocery Store in Blackwell, OK serving as store manager. Mr. Mason enjoyed playing the guitar, banjo, mandolin and the piano by ear. His hobbies included gardening, traveling and fishing.
Survivors include a daughter, Terri Mason of Enid, two sons, Wade Mason and his wife Deborah of Green Valley, OK, and Kit Mason and his wife Nicki of Perrin, TX, seven grandchildren, Carolyn Williamson, Janel Boyer, J.D. Mason, Craig Mason, Kahle Mason, Ryan Brown and Courtney Brown, seven great- grandchildren, Tyler Jones, Micah Mason, Brinklee Mason, Cam Mason, Blake Mason, D J Williamson and Jade Seiger, and two great-great grandchildren, two sisters, Donna Keller of Yukon, OK and JoAnn Barrick of Hereford, TX and a brother, Bob Mason of Hastings, OK. Donald was also preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, Ed Weckner and one sister, Earlena Pedigo.
