Pamela Marie Darby

149x185-Darby, PamelaA Celebration of Life and Remembrance service for Pamela Marie Darby, age 65 of Enid, will be held Monday, January 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Jim Edmison will officiate. Burial will be in the Bison Cemetery, Bison, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Pammy was born February 10, 1950 to Ruth and K.D. Clem. Pammy grew up in Enid, attending the Catholic schools where she made many friends and enjoyed life. She married her high school sweetheart, Larry Perks in 1967 and together they had one daughter.

Pam worked for Northrop Vance Air Force Base for 30+ years. There she met the love of her life, William P Darby, aka Preston. Pam and Preston were married in 1989 and made their home in Enid with their dogs and cats. Preston loved his hot rods; so you would find him and Pam, aka “Bubble Butt” to Preston, frequenting car shows on the weekends. When Preston passed away in 2007 he took Pammy’s heart with him. Pam never really recovered from the loss of Preston; she died right along with him on the sad day. Pam has gone home now to be with her Heavenly Father and to be reunited with Preston, what a day of CELEBRATION for her life:

Pam is survived by her daughter, Michelle Kokojan and her husband, James of Enid, OK; one grandson, Bobby Kokojan and his wife Hannah of Waukomis, OK and her father and step-mother, K.D. and Patty Clem of Perry, OK and many step brothers and sisters.

Pam is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Clem, maternal grandparents, Cecilia and “Gramps” Balfour of Enid, OK and paternal grandparents, Glenda and Arthur Clem, Lahoma, OK and many other family members and friends.

I will truly miss my mom, not only was she my mom, we were like sisters because she had me so young in life; we kind of grew up together. Thank you mom for being so strong and loving me when you could have given me away and went on with your life. For that is what made you so amazing to me. I LOVE YOU and I will see you when my time comes; love your daughter, aka “MooMoo”.

Memorials may be made to the Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
