The Graveside Service for Norma Gay Cottom, 92, of Okeene, formerly of Drummond, will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday December, 2, 2015 in the Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Michael Frisbie officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
She was born May 8,1923 in Weatherford, Okla. To W.C. and Catherine Elizabeth Renshaw Lovely and died Saturday, November 28th,2015 in the Okeene Municipal Hospital. She graduated from Ames High School in 1941. She later married George W. Cottom and moved to Drummond, Oklahoma where they made their home for over twenty-five years. She worked in the United States Civil Service Commission at Johnston Grain Company for over ten years, and later became a caregiver.
She is survived by her special niece/daughter/caregiver Elizabeth Ellis of Ames, four brothers, Gene Lovely, Jack Lovely, Ronnie Lovely, and Jim Lovely, numerous Grand-children, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents, three sisters, Vivian Hand, Rena Whitfield, and Ladonna Fonzi, one brother Fred Lovely, and her former husband George W. Cottom.
