Selika Shives named NOC Jets player of the week
Selika Shives of Binger has been selected as the Northern Oklahoma College Enid Jets softball player of the week.
Head Softball Coach Jamie Roberts made the announcement, the second time Shives has been so honored this season.
“Selika is batting .538 with 8 doubles, 1 triple and 7 home runs,” Roberts said. From the mound she has 19 strikeouts and an ERA of 3.56.”
A sophomore from Binger-Oney High School, Shives was a First Team All-Region selection-Designated Player last season.
As of March 24, the women’s record is 17-7.
