Enid Buzz and News Talk 960KGWA are working together to bring Enid a candidates forum on Wednesday, January 28 at 6pm.
The public is invited to attend this forum at the Enid City Hall council chambers. The event will be broadcast live on Enid Television Network channels 12 and 112. It can also be seen live streaming on all online ETN web pages.
News Talk 960KGWA will also be broadcasting the forum on their AM radio station. Enid Buzz is looking into podcasting or tweeting the event live as well.
You will hear from Mayoral candidates Bill Shewey and Dr. David Vanhooser along with City Commission Ward 5 candidates Tammy Wilson, current Ward 5 commissioner, and her opponent Diane S. Levesque.
The forum will be moderated by Frank Baker with Eagle Marketing. A panel of media professionals will be asking questions and will take questions from local residents. Members from Enid Buzz, KGWA, KOFM, KNID, Route 60 Sentinel and the Enid News & Eagle will be on the panel.
Where in the heck does one find information for campaigns, and campaign materials
for Enid City elections?
Good question. I don’t know that there really is a place. The Garfield County Election Board has some info but not really city campaign related. Is there something you are specifically searching for?
