Truck and Tractor pulling, also known as power pulling, is a motorsport competition which requires modified tractors to pull a heavy sledge (sled) along a 35 ft wide and length of 100 meter or 300 ft+ track, with the winner being the tractor that pulls the sledge farthest. The sport is known as the world's most powerful motorsport, due to the multi-engined modified tractor pullers.

The Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pulling Association (www.outlawpulling.com) has agreed to sanction and produce a 3 class, national level truck and tractor pull in Enid, OK on June 20th.
Promoters Tom Mack of Lucien, Justin Gallion of Edmond and Dave Bennett from Chickasha have been working with the Outlaw Association for the past year to secure a suitable date for the Outlaw circuit to be able to pass through the Enid area. This will only be the second time the Outlaws have been in Enid as they were in front of the Enid Fairgrounds grandstand 7 years ago.
The association was pleased with the venue and surrounding area support that they have had Enid on the approved list ever since but have been waiting for a promoter that would work with the traveling time slot of the association. Many of the competitors have been on either ESPN, RFD or MAV-TV.
The 3 classes that will be in competition will be the 7,500# multi engine modified's, 10,000# diesel Pro Stock Tractors, and 6,200 # blown 2 wheel drive trucks. These 3 classes will be traveling into Enid from competing in Ravenna, NE the week before.
After the Enid show they travel to Woodward, OK the following night then to Taylor, TX the next weekend followed by Whitewright, TX on the 4th of July weekend and then on to Rock Valley, IA the next week end.
The Outlaw Association offers & sanctions 13 different classes all of which can be seen on TV for 12 weeks starting this coming October on the Velocity HD channel. The Outlaw season starts the last weekend of May continuing through Mid September. The completion area covers from, Sturgis, SD, to Taylor, TX and from Hutchinson, KS to Jefferson City, MO with 54 towns in between those points.
The OTTPA is in hopes with the right promotion and support that the Enid show would grow into more classes offered for spectator viewing as well as maybe being the Oklahoma portion of the TV show in years to come. A triple blower motor modified tractor will be on display at one of Enid's O'Reilly Auto Parts Store June 20the, day of show, from the hours of 8am till 1pm.
Discounted advance tickets can be purchased at any and all O'Reilly Auto Parts stores right up till show time which is 7pm at the Enid Fairgrounds outdoor arena June 20th.
