Enid, OK (May 1, 2014) –The Oakwood Mall is no longer under contract with Vector Securities. Oakwood Mall is currently exploring options for the future of the property. More information will be forthcoming at a later date. While the options are being explored, Oakwood Mall will continue to operate as the regional retail hub for northwest Oklahoma.
Oakwood Mall is anchored by Dillard’s, Sears and JCPenney and has many national, regional and local tenants including Starplex Cinemas, The Buckle, Vanity, Famous Footwear, Zales, Five80 Coffeehouse, and GNC.
Oakwood Mall has been an integral part of the Enid community for many decades and looks forward to a bright future. The mall hosts a variety of community events including car shows, a carnival, 4-H Day, Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby, live music events, and holiday events. The mall partners with local healthcare providers to offer community blood drives and health fairs and is active with local organizations including the Salvation Army, DARE, the Red Cross and the Chamber of Commerce. Oakwood Mall is also a popular destination for walkers.
