New Health Complex in Enid

INTEGRIS Bass Baptist Health Center Announces Development of New Health Complex

ENID, OKLA. (May 29, 2013) –North Van Buren is beginning to look more and more attractive to medical businesses. The area near US 81 and Willow can be reached quickly from all over town and easily from the surrounding towns in northwestern Oklahoma.

This northern area of Enid is becoming a mecca of medical offices and health related facilities. For years the Evans Pharmacy was one of the only medically related company around but now they have expanded into Home Health Care, scrubs, compounding and much more.

The area also now boasts of having the Surgery Center of Enid, Mercy Oncology, Family And Pulmonary Medicine, Cancer Care Associates, Nicholas Eye Clinic, Northwest Pediatrics, Oxygen Oklahoma North, nursing homes and others.

INTEGRIS Bass Baptist Health Center has announced plans to develop a new health complex on Enid’s north side as well. The plans include an orthopedic, sports medicine and neurosciences center with diagnostic capabilities, and an urgent care facility.

The location of the complex will fill a gap in urgent care access to Enid’s north side residents, as well as those communities north and west of Enid.

Physicians to be located in the new center include orthopedic surgeons Todd Reilly, D.O., and James Harrington, D.O., foot and ankle surgeon Alex Lebrija, D.P.M., neurologist Pedro Cardich, M.D., and neurosurgeon Bruce Pendleton, M.D.

“As INTEGRIS recruits more physicians to Enid, availability of office space becomes an issue,” said Eddie Herrman, INTEGRIS Bass president. “It is vital that we continue to look for new opportunities like this one and continue to provide easy access to health care for all northwest Oklahoma residents.”

Construction on the project will begin this summer. The complex will be located at 2821 N. Van Buren St. in Enid. Triangle Insurance recently relocated from that spot to the old Bass Building in downtown Enid. The official name and date of completion of the facilities will be announced at a later date.
